Booking your first driving lesson couldn´t be easier.

Ignition Driving School accepts cash, cheques and all
major credit and debit cards. For cash and cheque payments, please pay the driving instructor directly.
With the first lesson being free, there is nothing to pay
until your second hour of tuition.

Driving Schools York
At Ignition Driving School we understand that driving lessons need to fit in around your other commitments, and because of that all our York driving lessons are provided at a time and location that suits you. As we are flexible, you may want to start your York driving lessons from work or school and finish your lesson at home. Simply ask your driving instructor at the time of booking your lesson.

As Hayley works flexible hours, an intensive driving course in York could be the right course for you as it allows you to reach test standard in a shorter time frame. In addition to these popular courses, we also offer standard hourly courses. Once you have passed your driving test, then you may wish to consider doing motorway lessons as this is one area that is not covered during a normal course of lessons.
Hayley Towers my new driving instructor provided a patient and benevolent nature throughout my driving tuition. It was clear from the off that we got on like a house on fire and through her careful planning and teaching I managed to get to test standard and pass in no time at all.

Unlike some York driving schools, we aim to get you to test standard in as short a time as possible. On average our pupils take 9◊ fewer hours than the national average saving yourself both time and money. Furthermore, unlike some other York Driving Schools, our lessons really do last a full hour, ensuring you get the maximum benefit from your teaching time. As part of our commitment to giving high quality driving tuition, we work closely with the Driving Standards Agency to ensure high standards of teaching.
