Driving schools Birmingham
In Birmingham, Ignition Driving School provides premium driving lessons at competitive rates. It is not our policy to offer discounted lessons or gimmicks to keep you learning to drive for longer than necessary. We understand that money may be tight and so by offering attractive but fair prices throughout your course of lessons, your highly trained Birmingham driving schools instructor will be working hard to get you up to test standard in the shortest time possible. What’s more, if you are thinking of doing 10 or more Birmingham driving lessons, then the first driving lesson is free*. This free driving lesson is not only a great way to get used to the controls of the car but also it gives you the opportunity to meet your driving instructor. If you’ve had experience of driving already then we can use this free lesson to assess your level of ability.
Our driving instructor In Birmingham, Alan, is a fully qualified instructor and local to the area. With several years of teaching experience Alan has developed a good reputation at the Birmingham test centres and because he knows the local area well, the majority of your driving lessons will be conducted around the area you live. For the ultimate learning to drive experience, what better car to learn in than a brand new BMW Mini with all the latest mod-cons? Alan is a highly valued member of the Ignition Driving Schools team and his pupils feel the same.
As you would expect from professional Birmingham driving schools, Alan will work flexible hours, meaning the driving lessons can fit around your other commitments. Secondly, all our Birmingham driving lessons last the full length of time you have requested – so an hour driving lesson REALLY does last a FULL hour! At Ignition Driving School, we are also against “piggy backing”, which is a system used by some Birmingham driving schools, where the next pupil is picked up on YOUR driving lesson time.
As Alan works flexible hours, an intensive driving course in Birmingham could be the right course for you as it allows you to reach test standard in a shorter time frame. In addition to these popular courses, we also offer standard hourly courses. We genuinely do care about your future driving career as well as your test success. Why not speak to us about our Pass Plus courses or motorway driving lesson courses once you have passed your practical driving test? You will also find on this website free theory test papers and hazard perception clips to practice in preparation for your theory and hazard perception test.
The DSA recommends that pupils take approximately 45 hours of tuition combined with 22 hours of private practice to reach test standard. Our aim at Ignition Driving School is to not only make you a confident driver, but also to reach test standard in the shortest time possible. On average pupils taking driving lessons with Ignition Driving School need 39 hours* worth of driving lessons to get them to test standard. This is because we only recruit local driving instructors and so all your Birmingham driving lessons will be focused around your local area. So, by the time your test arrives, not only will you be a confident driver, but you will also be familiar with the testing area.
